ESPRESSO ROMA, College Ave. and Ashby

You're probably thinking, what? a cafe in this blog of restaurants? it started last monday when i went with a couple of friends to study there. We saw a lady order a giant pizza that looked SOOO yummy. i'm talking about the thinner crust kind that looks like it's made from scratch. definitely not the pizza hut variety, but perhaps akin to cheeseboard. still, nothing is as good as cheeseboard, of course. So, on monday we decided that we'd return on WED just to order the pizza. we got one with ham, garlic, and feta cheese and it was goood :) the crust was a little bland when we got there towards the end, but overall, nothing to complain about. this place has really good-looking foccacia sandwiches, also, and i think they even make calzones, even though they're not on the menu! i'm talking giant, baked-fresh ones. we saw a guy with one and it musta been 15 inches long or something. HUGE.
